ECI in association with Steuler GmbH, designs, manufactures and installs Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) Systems to remove sulphur dioxide from flue gas emissions.

ECI’s FGD Systems use the most advanced absorption technology. Flue gas emissions are passed into a specially designed absorption tower containing calcium carbonate which converts the sulfur dioxide present into a useful by-product – gypsum. ECI’s FGD Systems are made of special corrosion resistant materials and are compact, easy to maintain and exceptionally long-lasting. ECI’s FGD Systems are suitable for power plants and various industrial operations.
