In 2002, when Cord Exhaust Engineering Singapore was formerly known as ECI Singapore, the company achieved a significant milestone by obtaining ISO 14001:1996 and ISO 9001:2000 (currently known as ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015) certification from SGS International Certification Services Singapore Pte. Ltd. This certification reaffirmed the company’s commitment to environmental protection and sustainable practices across both its products and manufacturing processes.

After six years of perseverance and technical refinement, CEE Singapore also achieved DNV certification in 2019, marking a major milestone in product safety, reliability, and international compliance.

CEE Singapore is powered by a highly skilled and diverse team of innovators and engineers from renowned institutions including the National University of Singapore, University of Technology Sydney, University of New South Wales, University of Wales, Yangon Technological University, University of Adelaide, Singapore Polytechnic, and several other respected universities across Asia and Australia.

With expertise spanning Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, and Aerospace Engineering, the team dedicated more than six years to the research and development of advanced exhaust silencer combustion spark removal technology. Their passion for innovation, perseverance, and technical excellence continues to drive the company forward as an industry pioneer in product development.

Industry Experience & Project Milestones

The company’s pursuit of internationally recognized certification for its exhaust silencers was inspired by the successful completion of a major two-year fabrication project involving a fully operational E-House for an oil rig operated by PTTEP Thailand Petroleum. Collaborating closely with engineers from McDermott’s Shipyard highlighted the importance of product testing, certification, quality, and operational reliability.

After years of extensive research, development, and overcoming numerous technical challenges, CEE Singapore proudly achieved DNV certification for its spark arresting silencer technology in 2019. This achievement marked a major milestone for the company and reflected the dedication and resilience of its engineering team throughout the development journey.

Global Testing & Continuous Improvement

To uphold standards comparable to leading global suppliers, CEE Singapore subjects its products to rigorous testing and certification by internationally recognized organizations and laboratories, including the Singapore Productivity and Standards Board, SGS International Certification Services Singapore, and various accredited European testing centers.
